A question that’s been coming my way for years now and even I don’t know what took me so long to finally put it out there in a concrete form, so to say. But better late than never
I almost never use a highlighter. My personal preference is of a soft radiant glow rather than sharp shimmer glow so illuminators is where it’s at for me, and those I have several of but my most used is certainly Flawless Filter by @charlottetilbury. It’s really perfect for when you want that ethereal lit-from-within glow without any glitter or shimmer
A few key points:
You can apply directly with the wand but taking it on the back hand first and lifting product from there allows for better control.
Can use fingers as well, just make sure to dab gently to not displace the makeup underneath.
Most people get the cheekbones and nose bridge right but brow bone makes a huge difference too! It gives a great lift to face and looks stunning.
Apply more if its a full glam look or just a bit when its not. That’s the beauty of this product, you can fully control the impact here.
