Walking 8-10k steps a day is an easy way to boost your daily calorie burn. For most people hitting your steps will burn as much as a workout – and is way more realistic to achieve every day!
️️ That’s not to say don’t workout though To build lean muscle (which also helps calorie burn!!) start resistance training 3x per week. You can start at home with bodyweight exercises if you’re a beginner!
Get 30g of protein at every meal. To maximise fullness and the calories you burn during digestion, protein is your best friend. 30g each at breakfast, lunch and dinner will make eating your daily total feel doable!
Water is required in the process of metabolising fat, so you definitley want to be drinking enough! And that’s not to mention the fact your energy will be better, you’ll recover from workouts quicker and your skin will start to glow!
Studies show that if you don’t get enough sleep you’re likely to eat up to 300 calories a day extra, without realising! And even if you DO stick to your calorie goal through sheer willpower, lack of sleep still slows down weigh loss so prioritise those ZZZs!
